The Winchester 1200 was the company's answer to the Remington 870, and it competed on every level: reliable, smooth-pumping, and built tough. The 20-gauge version is lighter and faster-swinging than its 12-gauge sibling, making it a joy for upland birds or clay shooting. Winchester sold the 1200 to police departments and civilians alike throughout the '60s and '70s before transitioning to the Model 1300. A classic American pump gun that doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
