Springfield Armory's Long Slide 1911 extended the classic Government Model with a 6-inch bull barrel in all-stainless steel, pushing the .45 ACP's inherent accuracy to its limits. The longer sight radius, adjustable rear sight, and 3-hole trigger give this pistol a competition-tuned feel that the standard Government Model can't match. Crossed Cannon logo grips, Commander hammer, and that extra inch of barrel length make it immediately recognizable. Long Slide 1911s are genuinely hard to find — Springfield produced them in limited numbers, and most collectors don't let them go.
