The Remington 7400 was Remington's flagship semi-auto hunting rifle, and the engraved version with a hand-checkered walnut stock was the top of the line. Chambered in .30-06 and topped with a Simmons Aetec 2.8-10x scope, this one is ready for the field. Gas-operated and smooth-cycling, the 7400 was built to handle everything from whitetail to elk. Engraved receivers were produced in limited numbers — most 7400s you see are plain-jane; this one isn't.
